Two Hands-The Quad, Dallas, TX was our second project at The Quad redevelopment, as well as our second opportunity to partner with Stream Realty. As noted in our previous project there, The Quad presented multiple logistical challenges, restricted delivery access, limited working hours, and coordinated shutdown requirements. For a general contractor responsible for managing all of these elements while maintaining the finish-out timeline, the process can quickly become complex. Ren Pro was more than prepared for the challenge.

This build featured a high, open ceiling design that required careful planning, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination to ensure proper installation from the top down. Working with Jeff Langham of Studio Elles, we were asked to implement several design additions introduced mid-project, forcing Ren Pro to remain proactive, flexible, and solution-driven as changes were implemented.

One unforeseen obstacle was the complete shutdown of the Dallas permitting system due to a citywide software upgrade. Ren Pro adapted the schedule, mitigated delays, and kept the project on pace. Although the inspection stage required some strategic maneuvering, we ultimately passed with Green Tags and secured the Certificate of Occupancy.

Today, Two Hands stands as a premier breakfast, lunch, and dinner destination, bringing variety, style, and character to Uptown Dallas.
