Caffe Lucca Dallas, TX was a collaborative project with Julian Barsotti, Jason Garrett, and Jones Baker Design. This unique build-out and remodel sits on the edge of the new Knox Street development, prominently located at the corner of Travis and Armstrong, just one block from Dallas’ beloved Katy Trail.

The project began with an overnight effort by the Ren Pro team to demised the existing Grange Hall tenant space from the new Caffe Lucca footprint. This required careful protection of a high-end jewelry store’s display cases, furniture, and merchandise, all executed within a strict 48-hour schedule. Our team successfully completed the work, allowing Grange Hall to reopen on Monday as if nothing had changed, with display cases reset and ready for business.

From there, we executed a full “facelift,” transforming the former Grange Hall space into the vibrant identity of Café Lucca. Under the vision of William Baker, Jules and Jason, the Sicilian café concept came to life through thoughtfully curated finishes, lemon trees, hand-painted and handmade terra cotta colored concrete tile, rich blue Mediterranean accents, and traditional Teste di Moro ceramic heads featured throughout the space.

A highlight of the project was collaborating with artist Julie Richey, commissioned by William and Julian, to create a custom handmade mosaic tile pattern that welcomes guests at the entry.

This project showcased Ren Pro’s ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines while operating within sensitive, active environments.
